it's one of those depressing weeks when I can't lift a finger without putting it back and saying to myself 'why bother?'
Duuuuuude, did you like totally ignore what's going on in the news, or is it not in your news?
Here's a recap of the week:
1- Malaysian airlines flight MH17 was shot down by someone while it was flying hiiiigh over a warzone. That's the second Boeing 777 MAS flight to go down this year (the other being the still-missing MH370), and the 4th MAS-related incident of the year, thus far.
2- Gaza is under attack again.. for the gazillionth time! I really wonder how many Hamas minions they actually killed (which is the formal reason for the attack).. and how many civilians make up the collateral damage? 70%?80%90%99.999%?
It's interesting that both news reached the world at nearly the same time.. and how mh17 overshadowed news of the other.. but who cares, right? as long as we're safe in our beds..\
of course we don't have to worry about the same fates (1 or 2) ever afflicting us, right?
What's Gaza's casualty counter like when compared to Syria or Egypt, right?
Besides, they started it..if they had accepted the occupation of their land silently, Hamas wouldn't have been created, and obviously if Hamas didn't kidnap those 3 kids, these hundreds of people wouldn't have had to die, right?
Aaaand I'm choosing to ignore other news items... and pictures and stuff..What you don't see can't hurt you..
