She wakes up before fajr and brushes her teeth and washes her face, to pray a few rakaahs of qiyam in solitude. She then prays sunnah and then fajr, in jamaah with her family. Then she reads Qur'an in her beautiful voice, as the morning unveils. She opens the windows of the house and pushes the curtains inviting the sun in, puts some water to boil and brews tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, and packs a healthy creative breakfast. As everyone showers, she combs her hair and tidies up here and there. Now it's her turn to take a hot shower, after she had attended to the others. She doesn't forget to smile at him, nor to kiss all of them as they head out to school and he goes to work. She sighs blissfully and goes about the house. There's the plan for dinner, contacting her family, the grocery shopping list to update, the learning of a new skill, the mending of things around the house, the gardening, dishwashing, et cetera. She then prepares lunch and retires to read a book before the silence is over. The kids are back and each has his/her exciting/sad story to share. She's patient. They eat heartily. Time to rest. Her mind wanders to her own childhood as she watches them. She's back in the kitchen and as she happily works, her mind drifts and wanders again. A familiar car pulls over and she's brought back to the present, she smiles a little with a tilt of her head .
She rushes to open the door with a girlish smile. He smirks. They talk, but every gesture is flirty. She takes off his coat and his hand finds it way around her waist holding her close to him, as if he's been far away, like a sailor. Papa! The children rush to embrace him, all at once, all together. She retires to watching him from the kitchen island. He's cute, you know.
It's maghrib now, they prayed jemaah, he lead them, and then he recited Qur'an with them. They had dinner. It was lively. They helped. Time passes so swiftly, playtime over, homework time over, they're sleeping so soundly. She showers, puts on an alluring n light fragrance, n lotion, n beautiful soft clothes. He creeps up from behind and kisses her collarbone. She melts. If there is a heaven on earth, this is it, this is it. It's not Kashmir, it just so happens to be that there is one in this heaven. How could it not be blissful with miracle kids, and the biggest miracle of all, His Love and Mercy and Blessings.
---She wakes up early and takes a hot shower. Now that she's fresh and not so sleepy, she prays a few rakaahs and her beautiful recitation wakes him up too. He wakes up the children for congregational prayers. Time to get ready for the day while she makes their breakfast and packs lunch. She then retires to reading, shopping, gardening, learning a new skill, keeping in touch with friends and family, housekeeping, et cetera. It's a new day..
