I think I owe it to my self of a few months ago to review this year's season premieres
for #thebigbangtheory, #2brokegirls, #thevampirediaries, #theoriginals, #newgirl, #spiral (#Engrenages), and #bones. Spoilers, spoilers everywhere!
Let's start off with Big Bang, because I watched it first. The Big Bang theory had premiered with 2 episodes. Now the last season's finale left us wondering what would happen to Sheldon who's just left string theory and left his home as well..and Penny & Leonard has just got engaged, and Raj's got a girlfriend (Emily) who we don't really know but I think we can say that she's not funny. I liked Lucy better and nothing much actually happened to Howie & Bernie. So the season premiere was definitely going to be about Sheldon- that we knew.. I was disappointed a little to find that he didnt achieve much. Didn't like Penny's new look either- she always manages to look different in each season, would have been nicer if someone else did something this time. This season, Leonard and Penny look like an already married couple. I think I miss seeing Stewie in his comic book shop.
Things have reached some sort of equilibrium in this show and I hope some sort of chaos is brewing underneath this quietude.

After two episodes back-to-back, I turned to Bones' premiere. Now that was a fiery start.
The last finale, if you recall had us very, very angry at Booth's capture and assault, for lack of better words, and also it made us very suspicious of the people around him because of the conspiracy.
So, we expected a fight or a flee from justice or something like that, and perhaps we expected things to prolong into several episodes before finally the conspiracy is exposed. Now this is what I like about Bones, you don't get what you want. They wrapped things up very quickly into two episodes and they made sure you'll remember this season for life, for Sweets gets killed in the very beginning. I cried a lot. But, that's a powerful start. And now that I'm in episode 2, I think I am gonna love that new guy with Booth.
So, next comes the Vampire Diaries. TVD was crazy last season, simply put a lot of people were either dying or coming back to life. It was like I was watching a zombie movie. I didn't like that.
I am kind of glad, therefore, that the other side disappeared, even though I actually enjoyed the Silas part (he scared me more than Qetsiyah) and the Katherine part. Now back to the present, the season premiere was okay. Loved the ending, and I think I have an inkling of what's going on, though I hope it's not what I think it is because that will only bring some other people back alive.
I like Alaric's presence, but without Damon his life's rather empty. I wish Meredith Fell was with him at least. As for Stefan, glad he's not a ripper this time. Didn't like what that witch was doing with Tyler in the beginning- I see it as plain flirting, but liked the last part of theirs in the episode. Few people may approve of Elena's way of handling things, but I actually approve of it. That's probably what I'd have done anyways, though I wish I could handle it like Caroline. As for Jeremy, the brat hasn't changed at all- that's disappointing. It's good to see them all once more, but it feels like it's been long since we last met, something should have happened, they're behaving like things just happened yesterday. A little too lifelike perhaps, but we want drama :P
The Originals
Guys, I did not like what I saw in the Originals. Loved the fairy tale beginning but that was it- in fact I left it halfway and never continued! Worse still, I can't pinpoint what is it exactly that I don't like about it..
But it's a safe assumption to say that Elijah in the first half was not interesting enough.
Make him shirtless.
Make him sexy.
Make him distract himself from Hayley with someone else..
Damn! Season 1 was better..
2 broke girls
So there was a lot of hype about this premiere because of the Kardashians..
I liked the episode although I expected something totally different, (glad it's not like the Lindsay Lohan episode..)
Welcome back, gals!
I'm happy :D that Caroline got a haircut though i wished it was shorter..
Olegg was a bit of a disappointment- he doesn't look up for this season.
Han's another disappointment.. the gay jokes are overdone, i wanna say tasteless but the whole show's quite tasteless most of the time and yet i still watch it!
2 broke girls is in need of new men!!
Strong, powerful, not necessarily funny new men ...
Let's see, New girl left us at that stage where Nick & Jess had just broken up for a few episodes.. I must admit I'm glad, for though I loved the sexual tension between the two before they got together, they have the weirdest interactions when they're together.. Nick just becomes this old man... And Jess gives way too much.. Now Schmidt & Cece's the couple you want to see On & Off..
Sorry, took a detract there..
The new episode had a long motivational speech from Schmidt that I zzzzzed through..but I really love the title and idea of 'The Last Wedding' for the first episode. These writers are creative man! I am loving the presence of Jessica Biel and I fell in love with the best man from the moment i heard his speech. Zooey looks so pretty in this episode- I kind of forgot that I prefer the Emily Deschanel type. All of this is from the first 7 minutes of the episode.. I'm going to continue watching but I think this is enough of a review for you guys.. I know, I'm being partial here..so partial.. but isn't that one of the great things about me?
*slow dramatic claps* Well done, New Girl S05 premiere team!!
Spiral will be reviewed a.s.a.p.
